Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Medical Solutions.
Software Developer
So there were 2 rounds total. The first was with management, and the second was with the team where we went over technical stuff. They asked some behavioral questions too, and the technical questions were not too hard. I’m not sure why I didn’t get the job, maybe because of the market right now.
- What's your reason for leaving your current job?
Senior Software Engineer
It was a three-round process: an initial call followed by two panel interviews on Teams. All interviews included random trivia questions and puzzles. The managers seem to hire randomly and many people only stay a year or two due to high turnover. The managers appear incompetent.
- How would you cut a cake with three cuts to serve eight people.
Software Engineer
I met with the frontend lead and the team manager at the same time. The interview mostly consisted of questions about my past experience and some behavioral ones. There wasn't a technical assessment during this part. They mainly asked if I had experience with specific technologies and wanted me to elaborate on how I used them in projects.
- Tell me about your experience with x technology and how you used it.
- Describe a time you led a team and made decisions about tool selection. What was your decision-making process?
