First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Medical Mutual.
Customer Service Specialist
I applied online on Jan 29th. A recruiter reached out on Feb 10th to see if I was still interested. About a week later, I had an interview with the recruiter where we discussed the job description and my tasks, and she said she'd be in touch. Then I got an email to confirm an interview with a supervisor and a manager, which I did. I spoke with each of them for about an hour. They asked behavioral questions, focusing on my work habits and skills.
- Tell me about a situation where you encountered a problem you didn't know how to solve.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process started with a phone call, then I had several in-person interviews. There was also a typing test and a grammar test. They said they'd let me know either way, but I never heard back and got no feedback. I tried to reach out for feedback but still no response. Really unprofessional.
- Can you share an example of a challenging customer interaction and how you resolved it?
- How do you typically manage during high-pressure scenarios?
- Give me an instance where you exceeded expectations to assist a customer.
Customer Care Specialist
It was a bit redundant, having to speak with three different people who asked similar things. The whole thing went for over two hours, which feels like a lot for this kind of job. They tell you you've got the job, then they make you do a drug test, which you could fail because of meds you're already on.
- Tell me about a time you showed a specific skill.
- Can you give an example of when you demonstrated a certain skill?
- Share an experience where you used a particular skill.
