Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Medical Diagnostic Laboratories.
Lab Technician
It was a pretty straightforward process. They only asked me a few questions during a phone interview. I had a second interview a couple of days later, and then I found out I got the job the very next day. The hiring team was really friendly, and we had a great conversation.
- Can you outline the steps involved in PCR?
Laboratory Technician
I had an initial phone screening, and the hiring manager was really nice. She asked about my background and mentioned that I would need to attend an on-board training in September. After that, they'd see if my performance met the criteria for becoming a permanent employee.
- Can you describe your previous experience?
- Would you be able to attend the training session in September?
- Do you believe your work will meet the standards for a formal employee position?
Laboratory Technician
The interview was pretty easy. As long as you know what PCR is, the procedures and explains well then you’re all good. They’re continuously looking for candidates so they takes most likely everyone in since there are 3 new employees almost every single week. The downside of the interview was I was not being walked in the area to see and observe company culture so I did not know how it works in there before actually started working.
- What makes you more qualified than other candidates?
