I got contacted on LinkedIn and we had a quick chat about the job. Since I was interested, they set me up with a Microsoft Office Test and an in-person interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist. After sending a thank you email and saying I was still keen, I had another phone screen with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, and then another one with the Talent Acquisition Specialist. They told me about the next steps, but then I never heard back. I’ve tried reaching out to the recruiter and the talent acquisition specialist twice since those interviews with no reply. Seriously lacking in professionalism on their end.

Submitted application online, heard from HR about four weeks later. Had to take a one-hour computerized MS Office skills test. Interviewed with an HR executive, going over my resume and asking typical questions. They said they'd pass on their thoughts to the department hiring. Within a few days, heard from the department and set up an interview for a few days later. Met with someone pretty high up, and had a personable and friendly interview. Unlike HR, who only considered me for the exact position I applied for -- even though there were 12 similar openings -- this person would put my name in for all the openings they knew of. After that interview, I had two more interviews with the people I would potentially be supporting, again in a pleasant and straightforward atmosphere. After the 4th interview, you start to think it's not just about skills anymore but more about the 'fit' -- if this is the place for you, if this is the 'team' you could be on. Both interviews went well.

The process was quite lengthy, taking about two months from application to offer. It included Microsoft Office skills testing, two phone interviews, and a 2.5-hour in-person interview with seven people in small groups. The interviewers were very pleasant, and the interviews went smoothly, making me feel confident about my chances. To succeed, be prepared, friendly, and confident.
