First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Medical College of Wisconsin.
Administrative Coordinator
The interview process was quite lengthy. As an internal employee, I first met with HR and completed a series of Microsoft Outlook tests. Following that, I interviewed with department staff at the same level as the role. My next interview was with a division administrator, and then I had a fourth interview with a faculty member. I declined the fourth interview because I received another offer within my department. In my opinion, the number of interviews for a position like this is excessive and overkill.
- Tell me about how you handle conflict.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
- What is your motivation for seeking a new position?
Program Coordinator
The interview itself was good, the manager who I interviewed with was very nice and thoughtful. After each interview though, everyone was unresponsive. It took three months to find out if I had gotten the job or not, and through out that time period I emailed 3 times with no response. This seems like a common trend with Medical College, and based on the experience I had and how long it took (applied in September, first interview February, declined April), this has deferred me from wanting to apply to other positions at medical college. I would advise planning on waiting forever if you are serious about getting a position here. The interview process is very disappointing.

Program Coordinator
It was a pretty standard interview, covering the role and benefits. It lasted about 40 minutes total. The recruiter was really helpful and provided a lot of information. The questions asked were the usual ones you'd expect in an interview.
- What makes you interested in this role?
