Behavioral

This was the worst interview experience I've ever had. The interviewer seemed uninterested in talking to me and didn't ask anything about my background or explain the position. It felt like a complete waste of my time. There was no empathy for how stressful interviewing can be and the effort people put into preparing.

The interview process mostly consisted of me talking about my major and why I picked it. I majored in Data Analytics, and if you check out their website, you'll see they talk a lot about how important data is. So, it was pretty easy to link my background to what they do and show how I'd be useful.

We had a regular interview process with the account director. We talked about my experience and past campaign and account management. We had a detailed conversation about media channel knowledge and benefits I could bring to the company. It was only one stage interview but I had a choice of 2 different accounts at first so I was able to pick the one I wanted to work on.

Behavioral Presentation

The hiring process was fast and a really good experience. About three weeks after I sent in my application, the recruiter got in touch and scheduled an initial screening. Following that, there was a 90-minute interview with three people from the team. Each of these interviews lasted 30 minutes and involved just one interviewer at a time: the Associate Director, then the Director, and finally the VP. The focus was more on casual chat, assessing personality and fit, and asking behavioral/situational questions rather than tough interview questions. It was nice to meet the team and learn more about what they do.
