Recruiter
I talked to an internal recruiter, then a few managers interviewed me. They gave me some reading material. Everyone was chill and friendly, and the interviews weren't hard. They said their hiring team would reach out. Two days later, I got a messed-up email saying my background was good but not a fit, which probably means they liked someone else more for their vibe. I tried to reply to say thanks and ask what I could do better, but got blocked. That's never happened before and it felt super unprofessional. I rearranged my work schedule twice for this and felt like it was rude to get that kind of canned response and then get blocked. I expected more from a company that's all about staffing. I also got the sense that their recruiters are just trying to hit their numbers, so they push a lot of people through. My tip is to be ready, but mostly just be yourself and let your personality show.
- What makes you want to be a recruiter with our company, how soon can you start, and are you in final rounds with any other places?
- Why do you want to recruit for us, when can you start, and do you have other final interviews?
- Tell me why you want this recruiter role, when you're available to start, and if you have other interviews ongoing.
Account Representative
The hiring process kicked off with a phone interview with a recruiter. It was pretty standard, mostly covering my background and asking for an example of grit. The recruiter was great to work with, always responsive. Next, I had a one-hour Zoom chat with the sales manager. It felt really natural and was one of the best interviews I've had. Even though I didn't get the job, MedaSource clearly has a solid recruiting approach.
- Can you share an instance where you demonstrated grit or resilience? Additionally, what is it that keeps you motivated?
- Tell me about a time you displayed grit or resilience. What motivates you?
Recruiter Sales Executive
The interview process was great until the end. There were 4 rounds total: 2 phone interviews with the recruiter and 2 in-person interviews with the regional manager and then the office manager. Things were going well and I thought I would get an offer soon. I was told they'd respond the week after my last interview. I followed up that week and then 3 times the following week. I called the regional manager twice, leaving a voicemail, and also called the recruiter and left a voicemail. I had spoken with the recruiter at least 10 times, building a relationship. She didn't call me back but emailed a generic rejection. I was disappointed I had to push so hard for a 'no'. It felt unprofessional.
- Can you share an instance where you took a significant risk?
Sales Executive
This was a pretty fast interview process. A corporate recruiter reached out to me two weeks ago, and after a phone interview last week, I had my in-office interview 5 business days later. This was a pretty straight forward interview. On the phone, they asked about my experience and tried to get a feel for my hard and soft skills. In the office, the interview was very conversational. We discussed our values, goals, and I was asked to tell some stories about some hardship and risks I've taken. The managers were so informative and really genuine people, it was overall a fantastic experience. I've gone on about 12 interviews in the past few months, and this was really one of the best.
- Can you share a significant risk you've taken?
- What are your aspirations?
- Tell me about your experience.
