So the interviews were like this: first, a 30 min chat with the recruiter, then a 1 hr peer interview with someone doing the job. After that, there was a practical exercise to do in 24 hrs. The final part was the onsite, which had three 1 hr sessions: one 'Medallian' interview, which was kinda like a culture fit but not exactly, and then two interviews with managers from the team. Honestly, it was the best interview experience I've had, and the whole thing took about three weeks. The recruiter was super on top of things, always replying within 24 hours to give updates and set up the next steps, which I really appreciated. Everyone was really nice and the process was totally straightforward, no surprises.

The second round was this crazy, unrealistic take-home project. They give you a scenario and you have to produce 4 or 5 deliverables. Then you have to present it to two Senior PMs who seem totally uninterested. They just send a generic rejection with no details, which is super disrespectful and a waste of time. The salary isn't even worth the hassle.

Found the job on LinkedIn and applied. The recruiter called me about 2 weeks later for a 15-min screening. Then I had a 30-min interview with someone doing the job. After that, there was a 2-3 week silence before I had more phone interviews, each an hour long, with other team members. I didn't hear back and didn't bother following up, but the recruiter eventually contacted me again like nothing happened to set up more interviews. Following those, I got a take-home challenge that involved Excel analysis and another task, supposed to take 6-8 hours. I didn't do well on it and never heard back. I only found out I didn't get the role by checking my application status on Jobvite, which felt rude. I thought I deserved at least a courtesy rejection email after all the time I spent on the interviews and the challenge.
