Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was excessively long, taking several months and involving 7 interviews. There was supposed to be an 8th interview, but it was canceled 15 minutes beforehand because I was no longer considered for the role. Many interviews were rescheduled. The interviewers were nice, and the team culture seemed good, which is why I continued. However, the process needs significant improvement, as it's almost double the typical 4 interviews (including the recruiter screen). I wouldn't recommend applying if I knew this beforehand. It was a waste of my time.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview journey began with a brief chat with a recruiter, followed by an informal meet-and-greet with a senior team member. Then, I had a full day of interviews, meeting five people from product management and product marketing. They asked a mix of behavioral, analytical, and experience-based questions. It was a really positive and engaging experience; the team was clearly enthusiastic about the company. After the first set of interviews, I was given a challenging project to complete over a couple of days, involving a competitive analysis and a strategic plan. I then came back for a second interview day. During this day, I presented my project to three product team members and also had several other interviews with product managers and engineers. The interactions were great again. Overall, working with the recruiting team was straightforward, and they were helpful and accommodating. I was consistently impressed by the company's strong positive culture and the quality of the people I met. Medallia's vision for customer experience management and its potential impact is genuinely inspiring.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The challenge project was demanding, covering a lot of ground given the short timeframe. Be prepared to invest significant time in it. Otherwise, there were no tricky or unexpected questions, just a good blend of behavioral, situational, and analytical inquiries.
