It started with a phone interview where they asked standard questions like why I applied to Mead and Hunt and what software I've used. They also asked a behavioral question about strengths. Then, I went on-site to the office for the main interview. I met with two engineers, and an HR person joined via Skype. We talked about my past work experience and they asked more behavioral questions. The HR person also chimed in with behavioral questions. The whole thing lasted an hour, and by the end, they asked about salary and my start date.

So, I had my first call with HR, and then another with the hiring manager. The next week, I went for the in-person. Since I was there a day early, a hiring manager took me out to dinner for like two hours, mostly talking about my past and current work (like 75% of the time). The actual interview day had the hiring manager, department head, and the HR person. The first 45 minutes, the HR person mostly just listened and took notes, sometimes even dozed off. The last 15 minutes, she asked about my availability to join and how I'd handle the transition if I got the job.

Had a phone interview, it was pretty straightforward. I don't know much about the aviation industry, and they didn't give much info on what the job would actually involve. They basically asked me what I thought it would entail, then moved on. It was clearly not the right answer and when I asked for clarification, they brushed me off.
