First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MDK.
Legal Assistant
I sent my resume to HR and they called me back the next week. Then I did a few phone screenings with the hiring manager. After that, I came in for an in-person interview at the main office. I met with the hiring manager and two department managers. I got an offer about a week later. Once I accepted, I had to do a background check, a drug test, and give them a list of references. The whole thing took about 6 weeks.
- What are your thoughts on handling confidential information?
Legal Assistant
It started with a phone interview with HR, and then I had an in-person panel interview with five managers and one HR person. The firm was really busy and seemed to be hiring a lot of people, with many departments needing staff, so the managers were practically competing for me. We ended up interviewing in the cafeteria because all the conference rooms were in use, which was a bit distracting.
- Are you good at repetitive tasks?
Paralegal
I had a 2-step interview process over the phone. The first step went well, but the pay was out of my desired range. They communicated well via email and also required me to create an account on a communication portal, which I wasn't keen on.
- How do you feel about hybrid work arrangements?
- What are your thoughts on working in a hybrid or remote setting?
