Behavioral Case

The initial online application is quite extensive, requiring about an hour to complete. It includes an SAT-like assessment and a significant 'personality/tendencies' section. If your performance on this is satisfactory, you might be contacted by Corporate for a phone interview. Should that go well, they aim to schedule a face-to-face meeting with a local store or district manager fairly quickly. While the overall timeline in terms of days wasn't long, the online part was challenging but engaging.

I talked to the owner, and she asked me a bunch of stuff about my background in the food biz and also had me do a few practice days of serving. You gotta learn a lot, and the tasks can be anything from greeting and seating people, to serving, to working the cash register, to cleaning, stocking, and even prepping food, etc.

I sent my resume to HR and they called me back the next week. Then I did a few phone screenings with the hiring manager. After that, I came in for an in-person interview at the main office. I met with the hiring manager and two department managers. I got an offer about a week later. Once I accepted, I had to do a background check, a drug test, and give them a list of references. The whole thing took about 6 weeks.

Had a phone interview, not sure about the next steps, but the hiring manager said they'd get back to me about the next steps. It's kinda sad because I prepared for this interview.
