First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at McNeill Hotel Company.
Breakfast Attendant
I had to call them to check if they got my resume, and then I got an interview. After that, I had to do a urine drug test at MedExpress. I started working less than two weeks later. They don't have any onboarding or training, they just put you to work and then treat you badly.
- Are you able to clean rooms as well?
Housekeeper
The hiring process for me was very easy and entertaining most of the people that where here at the time I knew from school or from a friend of the family very nice down to earth people
- Do you have reliable transportation?
Front Desk Agent
It was a great, casual, one-on-one interview with the general manager. They asked about my previous employment and work experience in the hospitality industry. It was brief and straightforward.
- Do you have prior front desk experience?
General Manager
My property was acquired, and I was already the General Manager. They had a meet and greet with me to discuss their company and offerings. They assured me that my entire staff could continue their employment with them. This was very important to me, as my team is key to my success in this industry, and I wouldn't want to replace anyone. They were organized and provided assistance to help me learn their new processes.
- Tell me about your hobbies outside of work.
- What aspects of your job do you find most enjoyable?
- How can we improve your work-life balance?
