Although I didn't end up getting the role, the interview process was really smooth and professional. We had an initial interview over Zoom, and then a second interview that was on campus and was pretty thoughtful and engaging.

I had an in-person interview with three panel members. One red flag was that they started the interview late, not seeming to care that I'm a student with classes. They didn't even know my name when I arrived, as if they hadn't scheduled anyone for that timeslot. When I mentioned my previous employer, they all reacted with surprise and impressed "ooohs," clearly indicating they hadn't read my resume. It was surprising that none of the three panel members knew my name or anything about my resume.

The hiring process for every job I've applied for has been really long and drawn out, especially for internal positions. As a current employee, I've applied for several internal jobs, and the hiring time can really vary. It usually takes at least a month, and I've even gotten interview requests two months after a job posting closed. For internal roles, I've never had to do more than one interview.
