Brand Strategist
I submitted my application online and was contacted pretty quickly. I had a chat with Melissa Shaheen, the Director of Recruiting, who seemed really friendly, bubbly, and genuinely enthusiastic about her job and McKinney. I went through a few interview rounds, including one with their head of strategy, and it all seemed to go pretty well. In the end, they went with someone who had a bit more experience, which made sense since it was a bit of a stretch role for me. However, some specific comments, like 'Next time we have an open position, you’ll be our first call!', made me feel like I'd made a good connection. But when I didn't hear back, it made those relationships feel a little fake and left a bad feeling.

Influencer Director
They had a few interviews to get a better sense of my skills and background. The recruitment timeline was sometimes a bit longer than expected, but they kept me in the loop about everything, so it wasn't a big deal. Working with Melissa Shaheen was great; they were super professional and really cared about finding the right people for the jobs. They communicated well the whole time and gave good insights into the company vibe and what they were looking for. Their positive vibe and willingness to do more made it easy and fun. Keep letting this director lead the hiring; their personal touch and focus on candidates' success make them stand out.

Influencer Marketing Manager
I had a really great time interviewing with McKinney. The team was super efficient and really cared about my time, making the process smooth and to the point. I got to chat with the HR Director, who was awesome and kept me in the loop. They moved quickly with my application, and when I let them know about another offer, they quickly came back with their own. Overall, it was a good experience with a professional and thoughtful HR team!

Data Scientist
I applied online in December and then reached out to a recruiter. The recruiter got back to me and had their junior send over the interview info. When it was time for the interview, I joined the zoom but the recruiter didn't show. After 20 mins, I followed up, and they apologized and asked to reschedule. I sent my availabilities, but they ghosted me for a while. I followed up again, and the junior said she'd get back to me that night, but didn't. Then the senior recruiter said the junior would get back to me the next week, but again, nothing, so I had to chase them down again. Finally, after she reached out, we set a time, but the recruiter never sent a zoom link, so I had to ask for it again. We finally had the meeting. Then, the following week, I had a technical round with the DS team. I presented my analysis on finding the best media portfolio and identifying key indicators for return on ad spending. The team seemed nice and said they'd contact me for another meeting, but never did. Two weeks later, I reached out to the recruiter again, but she never responded. The whole company is super unprofessional and disorganized with HR. I really wouldn't recommend working here. Apparently, others had similar issues, confirming how crazy my experience was. Stay away.
