First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MCI.
Project Coordinator
I had 3 interviews. The first was a phone call with HR. The other two interviews were on-site with the event managers to discuss projects and introduce the team.
- Do you master foreign languages/English, German?
- What types of events have you organized?
Administrative Coordinator
The interview process had two parts, and it started off organized. But after the last interview, they said I was overqualified but they would offer me to interview for another position. They didn't contact me when they said they would, so I followed up. I never heard back after that. It was too bad because we built a good rapport.
- Can you share an instance where you dealt with conflict with a colleague or manager?
Coordinator
The interview involved the manager and a VP. They asked formal questions to gauge cultural fit, work ethic, personality, and flexibility. It was a very straightforward process with no unexpected elements. Standard professional interview questions were asked, and everyone was quite pleasant.
- How would you handle situation X?
- What qualities do you seek?
