Applied online and they reached out by email to set up a phone interview where we discussed my background and the job. The phone interview got pretty detailed about the position, and they asked about my salary expectations. They mentioned they might be able to pay up to $16.50/hr but needed to check. I had to take a personality test and send in work samples. After reviewing those, they scheduled an in-person interview at their Laurel office. During the office interview, they told me about the 90-day probation period where any violation, even being a minute late for any reason, would mean immediate termination. They really emphasized their rules and how violations were handled, which felt like being back in high school. After the interview, I had to fill out a paper application in the waiting area. While I was in the bathroom, I chatted with two employees who seemed young and were socializing. I asked them if they liked working there, and after a weird look, one gave me her number for private questions, but basically, they hated it. That pretty much killed my interest in the firm.

The interview was pretty straightforward and short. They often asked leading questions and seemed to want you to answer them. The interviewer paid attention and asked practical things like if I could handle the job, what my commute would be like, and what I expected from the work. Turnover is high, which I think makes them hire more relaxed, so lots of smart grads get in.

I applied on a Wednesday and got an email the next day asking for a phone interview. The phone interview happened on Friday, and shortly after, they emailed me to schedule an in-person interview for Monday. The interview was mainly me asking them questions. Two really nice people interviewed me and asked basic questions; it wasn't hard at all. They called on Wednesday offering me the job.
