First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at McAfee.
Intern
Applied from Elitmus and got shortlisted. I appeared for a test which was difficult. The technical questions were from Python and Data Structures, but I had the option to choose C++, .NET, or Python. The coding round was also in Python. I received a call for an HR interview after that.
- Can you introduce yourself, including your family background, primary skills, and secondary skills?
Intern
The process included a phone screen and then an in-person interview with three members of the comms team. Everything moved pretty fast, and there were no weird questions. They really seemed interested in how I approach personal development and self-reflection.
- Can you share an instance where you faced challenges working with a team?
Intern
It took a bit to hear back after applying. The questions they asked were a bit weird.
- Can you estimate the number of barber shops in San Francisco?
