Behavioral Technical Coding Case

I applied through a referral in early August 2020. Then in the second week of August, I spoke with a recruiter to see if I was a good fit and interested. The third week of August, I got a take-home test. In the last week of August, I had two phone interviews. The first was with the hiring manager, and the second was with a partner team manager. One interview focused on the take-home test, basic SQL, and visualization. The other was a business case-style problem-solving interview focused on data. The first week of September, I had four virtual rounds. One was with a Data Scientist about problem-solving (data, experiments). Another was with a Data Scientist focusing on SQL (Joins, Sub Query, CASE). Then I had two behavioral interviews, one with a Director and one with a Manager. After the interviews, I followed up with the recruiter, who said the feedback was positive and he'd get back to me by the end of that week. I followed up again a week later but didn't hear back.

The whole interview process was great, from the first contact all the way to the final interviews. I had a really good experience with everyone I spoke to; they were all very professional and polite. They made sure to clearly explain what they were looking for in a candidate. The senior recruiter was also a pleasure to work with.

The interview process took a while, with around 3-4 rounds. They were pretty straightforward and mostly conversational. The HR person was very easy and friendly to talk to. All the interview rounds were with people from the team the position was for, which was great for talking to potential teammates.
