Behavioral Presentation

I applied through Hays Recruitment, and they vetted my profile before sending it to Mayekawa. The whole process was super fast, with just one step: an in-person interview at Zaventem. I met with the HR manager and the person I'd be replacing. It was a bit surprising the manager wasn't there, but it didn't bother me. They mainly asked about my experience and personality, no tricks or pressure, they just wanted to get to know me and my background. Afterwards, we toured the production line, which gave me a clearer picture of the work. After this single interview, Mayekawa went straight to a salary offer, no follow-up. Overall, a straightforward, quick, and pleasant recruitment process.

I was first contacted by an HR officer. Then, the interview process was an online interview with the HR Manager, lasting about 40 minutes. For entry level positions, I think only this interview is needed, no need to interview with the MD.

Questions were pretty straightforward. The only issue was that the job description said it was an entry-level role, but they ended up hiring someone with a few years of experience. I think their HR should be more accurate when writing their job descriptions.

Behavioral Presentation Technical

The interview had three people: the Managing Director, an Engineer, and HR. The questions asked were pretty standard, nothing too out of the ordinary for interviews like 'tell us about yourself,' 'your pros and cons,' and 'what do you know about us?'. It's always a good idea to be more prepared than you think you need to be. I brought my portfolio and examples of my previous work, which they seemed to really like. So yeah, definitely overprepare. The main thing is to be confident in what you're saying.
