First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Maya.
Specialist
I sent in my application through the company's website. About a month later, I got an email for an interview with HR. After that, I had two more interviews, one with my direct supervisor and another with the head of the division. They were more interested in my soft skills and time management rather than my technical abilities. The recruiter was really helpful and kept me updated on my application status.
- Could you tell me about your current job and why you're looking to leave?
- What prompted your departure from your previous job(s)?
- How do you handle your time and ensure you meet deadlines?
Software Engineer
The interview process involved an HR Interview, followed by a Technical Exam, then a Technical Interview, and finally a Final Interview. Leetcode questions were asked during the interview, but this could differ depending on the team. I've heard some experiences don't quite match mine.
- Mostly technical questions concerning my resume
- and the technical exam
Compliance Manager
The interview with Maya was a good time. She was professional and really laid out how the company wants to drive financial innovation. It was cool they also talked about AML and compliance being key to their system. The whole thing felt easy and I knew what was up, which made me more stoked about potentially helping a company that grows but also has solid rules.
- Can you tell me about the most recent AML task you handled?
Customer Executive
There are 3 rounds. The first is a shortlisting round based on English communication. The second is a group discussion. The third is an HR interview. This round has basic questions and mostly checks communication. They waste your time speaking any topic for at least 15 minutes continuously. They are not clear about the job shift, so you have to ask clearly.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe how your day typically begins and concludes.
- Is there a particular topic or hobby you'd like to discuss?
