Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Max Mara Fashion Group.
Intern
First, there was a meeting with HR that was just to get to know each other and check qualifications. Then there were two more interviews, with the last one being in person. Management asked more specific questions related to the position, but there were no exercises or business case studies.
- What led you to choose this field of study/work?
Intern
The interview process happened in three steps: an online general knowledge interview with HR, an interview with the entire team, and an interview with the team manager.
- Tell me about your educational background.
- Do you have any previous experience?
- Why are you interested in working in the fashion industry?
Intern
Very long process with many interviews, often with the same people. They make you feel comfortable but ask a lot. They really want to know about your educational background and interests related to the job. There are about 3-4 online interviews, then you move to in-person ones. What I didn't like was having to chase them after two weeks of silence. I was really interested in the position, and if they had let me know sooner, I would have looked elsewhere.
- Which university courses did you like the most?
