We had four talks in total. The first was a technical one focused on Java. Then, I got an assignment from the interviewer, which involved coding and designing a solution. The third round was a discussion about the code and solution I came up with. Finally, there was an HR discussion.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview experience was quite seamless and conducted via Teams. The selection process involved two interviews. The first was with a Senior BA, and the second was with a Senior Product Manager. Both interviewers created a very comfortable atmosphere, making the entire interview feel like a relaxed conversation. A highlight was receiving constructive feedback at the end, covering areas like weaknesses, strengths, and personal development suggestions.

So for the tech lead role, there were 3 interviews. They asked about my experience with the tech stack and delivery. I went through all the rounds and was told an offer would be rolled out soon. After asking a few times, I found out they hadn't gotten hiring approval from upper management before extending an offer. Then, the recruiting team went silent. When I followed up again, I learned the positions were on hold. Weeks later, a recruiter from the same team contacted me about a different opening, and the same thing happened twice! My main issue with Srijan Technologies/Material+ is if you don't have the budget, don't give false hope. If you don't know you need management approval before posting a job, you shouldn't be in recruiting. You should do your homework on the process and help the company understand it better. It's really discouraging as a candidate to go through the whole interview process, clear all rounds, wait for an offer, and then hear that approval wasn't obtained beforehand, wasting my time.

Behavioral Technical

So, the interview process was pretty standard, but their communication was really misleading and not great. I had an initial chat with a recruiter, then an interview with someone upper management, and finally an interview with the direct manager. I got really good feedback after each stage. There was even an extra call with a recruiter since I had another offer. They made it seem like I was a shoo-in, but then sent a super generic rejection saying my resume wasn't a good fit after I'd already done all the interviews. They also ghosted my follow-up email. It really sucked to be put through multiple interview rounds, have to spend time prepping and interviewing, and then not even get a personal email.
