Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MasterBrand Cabinets.
Sales Manager
I spoke with an HR rep and we talked about my experience in sales, managing territories, and cabinetry. I was quickly rejected because they felt I didn't live close enough to one customer, as my commute to one is 40 mins to an hour, and the territory goes the other way for 40 mins and over 4 hours to the furthest customer. They stated, "I am outside the territory of Denver proper." The HR person didn't seem to understand that there's naturally windshield time involved in TERRITORY Management!
- Are you a resident of Denver?
Sales Manager
It started with a quick phone chat with HR, then I hopped on another call with the hiring manager, and after that, I went in person to chat with a bunch of different folks on the team. That was pretty much it for the interviews.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Sales Manager
Had a couple of phone interviews, then flew to Atlanta to meet with management. Was interviewed, then rode along with a rep for the day to see what the job is actually like. Then had another interview over dinner. Got an offer about a week later.
- Are you able to lift heavy cabinets?
