I met the VP of sales at a street fair and they asked me to send my resume. I heard back the next day for an interview. The first interview was to introduce the company, talk about how successful an insurance agent can be, and asked me to get licensed. They also asked some personality questions and about my friends network. A few days later, I got a call to visit their office again because the headquarter manager in San Ramon wanted to meet me. This was more of an official interview where the manager reviewed my resume, asked about my past and current job, and my sales experience. Finally, I completed an online test at home and got an offer.

The interview focused more on them explaining why they're better than competitors than on them asking about me. I got along well with the sales manager, who seemed supportive. I didn't interact much with the general agent, as he wasn't very involved.

I applied online and got a call to talk about a potential job in D.C. The interview went well, and they invited me to come into the office, but I decided to take a different job. Seemed like a nice place to work based on the call.
