It was effective. Part of the interview involved a sales pitch. They asked good questions. The interviewer asked relevant questions about my past experience. I was given a sales pitch to study from a paper they provided and then had to come back and deliver it.

Behavioral Technical Other

It was an easy, normal interview. They mostly wanted to know about my availability and if I could sell memberships. They asked the usual questions about my past jobs and why I was interested in working with them. They also asked if I knew anything about massage, but it wasn't a big deal if I didn't. It was pretty much all sales-focused questions.

Behavioral Other

The manager had me wait 30 minutes past my scheduled time even though I arrived early to fill out paperwork. Then, another person took me to the office where I saw the manager being disrespectful to the front desk staff, which was a red flag. The manager eventually came in, was on her cellphone, and made me feel like I was wasting her time, huffing and puffing and not making eye contact. She barely asked questions, just rudely asked about my previous job and when I got my license. I felt belittled and that she thought I had no sales experience, which isn't true as I've been in sales for over a year and a half. She called their training 'grueling' and said I'd get a call Friday 1/5, but after this experience, I'm going to pass.

  • When did you get your esthetics license?
