After completing an art test, there was a bit of a wait before the interview. I met with the Art Director and another team member who asked me questions. We talked about what I might have done differently on the test, and my career aspirations with the company, among other standard questions.
- Regarding the art test, if you had additional time, what aspects would you have focused on or altered?
- Could you describe your long-term career aspirations?
- What are your specific goals for joining our company?

After applying, I got an email to start a test right away. The test involved modeling a complex piping system with many parts in high quality. I spent a lot of time and effort on it, and after waiting for two weeks, HR emailed back to say the position was canceled. The whole thing was terrible, no calls or meetings beforehand, felt disrespectful. The unpaid test was too much work, felt like free labor.
- Could you model a piping system with a lot of components, providing textures and FBX files?
