Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mass General Brigham.
Project Manager
They had me go through 4 interviews and then ghosted me. I would have been the only male and person of color on the team. It was a waste of time, don't apply.
- Why are you interested in working at this company?
Project Manager
HR reached out after I applied to schedule a first call. It was pretty formal, but not too much. I got to a second round, but didn't get picked. They laid out my experience clearly on a timeline and communication was good. I didn't get an offer, but I did apply to other jobs after this based on my experience.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
Project Manager
I had one or two phone chats, then an in-person interview. The whole thing took a few weeks. It was an average difficulty interview, and everyone was nice. The interview length was also fine. I get it if I wasn't the right fit for the company or the job, but it's unprofessional to not let me know it was filled and I wasn't selected. I liked other things about the company, but that's a dealbreaker. They don't pay well, but I applied anyway because I thought I'd like the work. Sadly, I won't apply to other jobs there now.
