The interview process was great. Response time was quick after applying online. It involved 2 interviews and a writing sample. The first interview was a brief chat with the recruiter about logistics. Then, I had a 15-minute Skype interview with my supervisor, which was more in-depth and challenging. Finally, I was given an assignment to gather items related to a theme that Mashable readers might find interesting to purchase.

I had a video interview that lasted an hour. It was on Google Hangout. The hiring managers and some employees joined and spoke with me one after another. It felt personal but was a bit tiring. They were all really nice and friendly. After that, they asked me to do a pretty detailed writing test.

Submitted a pretty long online application on Mashable's own website. A manager called me back about 1-2 weeks after that. Had a phone interview with another manager in the same week, and then went in for an in-office interview a week after that. The in-office part had two 30-minute behavioral interviews, first with a Manager, then with an Associate Director. They offered me the position the very next day.
