First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mary Kay.
Intern
This job hiring process is a multi-stage thing. We mostly do interviews, which can be one-on-one, with a group of other candidates, or a panel. We interview over the phone, video, or in person.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?
Intern
The interview was conducted online via Microsoft Teams. It started with an HR interview, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager for the role.
- What motivated you to select Mary Kay?
Intern
It was a casual conversation about business and agile processes, along with testing my knowledge. No typical "hard" interview questions were asked. The interview lasted a bit over an hour but it flew by. I was genuinely interested in the content, which I think helped.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What led you to choose your current school?
- Could you explain the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)?
