First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Maruti Suzuki.
Software Engineer
There were 2 rounds of interviews. One was face-to-face and the other was online. They asked me about projects I was working on and after that, some Java microservices-related technical questions.
- Is microservices a coding style or an architecture?
Applications Developer
So there were 2 rounds in total. First, a presentation round to check your presentation skills, which is pretty important as most people get rejected here. If you pass this, you have a good chance of getting hired. Then, there was a technical round where they asked basic subject questions. Since I'm from CS, they asked stuff from Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, DBMS, and Networking. So, brush up on these topics. There were 3 interviewers, and they were all really nice and friendly, so don't be nervous. Just make sure your concepts are crystal clear because they'll quiz you on everything.
- Can you show how to implement two stacks using a single array and then optimize that implementation?
- What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6, and can you explain how the internet works and other networking concepts?
- What are the differences between IPv4 and IPv6?
Software Developer
It started with a technical online test. Then, there was a presentation round where we had to present and based on that, they chose people for the final HR round.
- Questions about basic programming
- Questions about databases
