Intern
First, we'll chat about who you are and why you're keen on joining us. Then, we'll dive into some technical stuff from your studies. After that, you'll get to walk me through the projects on your CV. Finally, we'll look at your grades and talk about topics related to the job.
- Can you explain what causes an engine to backfire, and what are three reasons this might happen?
Intern
So, applying for an internship at Maruti Suzuki usually starts with submitting your application online. After that, they do a resume screening to see if you fit the bill. Then comes an initial assessment, which might be aptitude tests, technical checks, or psychometric evaluations. If you pass that, you'll go through interview rounds. There's usually a technical interview where they test your knowledge on things like automotive engineering or manufacturing. If you do well there, you move to an HR interview, focusing on culture fit and your career goals. Sometimes, there's also a managerial interview with the hiring manager or a panel to see if you're a good fit for the team. Finally, if all goes well, you might get a job offer with the details of your employment.

Intern
The interview process was very technical and not really related to the job itself. They asked very tedious questions instead of focusing on the candidate. I think they should recruit more holistically, considering not just technical knowledge but also retention, and that having a big ego doesn't help attract the best students.
- Can you tell me the specification of the lathe in your lab?
