I had an interview with an outside recruiter over the phone, and then another one over googlemeet. they usually use googlemeet. This one is way more informative and then I had a final interview with the sales director.

I applied on LinkedIn. The recruiter did a phone screen, then I had to do a timed online quiz for the job. After that, the recruiter set up an onsite interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter was nice and easy to talk to. I interviewed with the SW development hiring manager. After the onsite, the recruiter called me for a follow-up. She asked for feedback on what they could improve about the interview process, to help them make it better for future candidates and the company. I was really impressed with the staff, they were professional and friendly, and the whole process went smoothly from my end. I also liked the company culture.

I had a phone call with the recruiter, then the Sales Manager. Then I went in person to interview with the Sales Manager, the Director of Sales, and finally two Account Managers. They were all really nice and answered my questions. The weirdest part was the last step, which was to write a response to an email. After I finished that, I told them I was done and they just said 'ok, thanks.' Nobody told me what was next or walked me out, so I figured they weren't interested.

The recruiters were nice and the interview was informative and pleasant. However, I felt frustrated because it seemed like the recruiters didn't know what the senior editors were looking for. The interview was long, but then I didn't hear back or get any explanation for why I wasn't invited to a second interview.
