I got contacted to come in to the pub for an interview with the manager. It lasted about 15-20 mins. I didn't hear back until two weeks later when they called to offer me the job.

Had a really great interview experience. The staff was super nice and the manager was very approachable. They even offered me a drink, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The other team members made me feel really welcome and engaged with me, making me feel like part of the team already.

I got to my interview and there were a few other people there. Two staff members welcomed us, they were very friendly and chatty. Then a lady came down, also very friendly and chatty, to take us to our interview. We sat down and were greeted by about 7 or 8 managers. They were all lovely and didn't make it feel too serious. We had to do a group activity with the other applicants where we built a skyscraper out of paper and balanced a ball on top. After that, we had to do a 'star of the show' performance to demonstrate what the perfect waitress or waiter is. You could do a song, poem, or even draw a stick man and talk about it. The third task was an interview where we sat down with different managers. The lady I had made me feel so comfortable and only asked me 3 or 4 questions. I didn't realize how fun an interview could be until interviewing with Marstons! I was offered the job the next day and am starting soon.
