I had one interview over Microsoft Teams. Then I spoke with the director on the phone. The last interview was in person, which was also a chance to check out the commute and such. It was all pretty straightforward.

The interview process at Marshall and Stevens was pretty standard. They don't have anyone screen resumes or cover letters, HR is based in Los Angeles but they just forward emails which is inefficient. Once I got the call, I came in and spoke with the team members through a series of one-on-one interviews. The questions were fairly standard, nothing really out of left field.

The hiring process was very simple. Instead of an initial HR call, I had a few meetings with the hiring managers and team members. These discussions focused on my resume and past experiences, and I was asked some technical questions. It was a really straightforward process.
