I had one interview over Microsoft Teams. Then I spoke with the director on the phone. The last interview was in person, which was also a chance to check out the commute and such. It was all pretty straightforward.

The interview process at Marshall and Stevens was pretty standard. They don't have anyone screen resumes or cover letters, HR is based in Los Angeles but they just forward emails which is inefficient. Once I got the call, I came in and spoke with the team members through a series of one-on-one interviews. The questions were fairly standard, nothing really out of left field.

My professor referred me, and I had 5 interviews total. It was basically one-on-one with the whole valuation team. Everyone was super nice, so it wasn't as stressful as a bank's superday. The questions were pretty basic but also technical because they needed someone who could actually do the job.
