First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marsh McLennan Agency.
Customer Service Specialist
So I was referred, but I dodged a bullet. This place is fake. People are fake happy. The interview process is super long. After the phone interview, there's a 2-hour meeting with a recruiter, a pointless assessment, and then a meeting with the department manager to find "diamonds." The manager was rude and talked down to me. When I asked about company changes, they said nothing negative, which was a red flag. If you move forward, you meet with an IO Psychologist. But first, you have 3 personality/knowledge assessments that take up to 3 hours. They really want "diamonds." I guess I'm not a diamond because I didn't get an offer. Thank god. The process was tedious and condescending. They waste your time to just say "no." They won't train you; you're expected to know everything. Huge Boomer mentality. It takes so long, you'll get another offer first. My referral said they have high turnover, hence the "30+ days since posted" job ads. Look elsewhere, you'll be treated better.
- What job do you want most?
Customer Service Representative
I talked to a recruiter first, then they connected me with the hiring manager for a Zoom interview. After that, I had to complete a personality test and an Excel assessment. The last step was meeting with an account manager.
- What is one aspect of your current daily tasks that you dislike?
Customer Service Representative
The recruiter was first, then the VP of the division, and finally the team lead. The process was quick and included some assessments. Everyone was really nice and easy to talk to!
- How did you handle a difficult person you encountered?
