I had a phone screening followed by a management interview where they used STAR-based questions. They wanted to hear about situations related to managing time, working in teams, solving problems, finishing projects or tasks, dealing with failure, understanding the role, lessons learned, and why I'm the best fit. I was encouraged to present with confidence and accountability. Overall, it was a great interview experience.

The interview process began with a phone screening with the recruiter. This was followed up by face to face interviews on 2 separate days due to unforeseen circumstances. I was interviewed by two people on both occasions. The entire process took approximately 6 weeks from the first call to the start date.

Behavioral Technical

I applied and got a callback about a week later. It was pretty disorganized from the beginning, with two different people trying to schedule the same interview. On interview day, the interviewer called to say she had back pain and wouldn't be in, asking if I could do a phone interview instead, which I agreed to. I'm not a big fan of phone interviews, preferring face-to-face, as I don't think you can really judge someone's character over the phone. I'm highly qualified for this role, but it's tough to prove on a conference call with two people. The call had a lot of line delay, beeping, echoing, and the interviewers talked over each other, making it uncomfortable. The phone interview lasted 50 minutes. They asked those typical 'tell me about a time' questions. The next week, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward with me. I suspect they already had someone in mind and were just going through the HR legal motions.
