First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at marlo marketing.
Account Coordinator
I applied online and got a call back from senior management within a week. They asked me to come in for an interview and to do a writing assignment beforehand. They skipped the usual phone screening and wanted to meet in person. This was a red flag, as most jobs have a phone interview first. They also wanted me to interview for a different role than I applied for. They were pushy about interview times, wanting me to come in when I couldn't because I had a full-time job. I canceled the interview because they seemed disorganized and I didn't have a good feeling.
- What is your interest in Marlo?
Account Coordinator
I had a phone interview for the Account Coordinator position. I was really hopeful about the role, but the interview was quite short. I felt like the interviewer wasn't really paying attention. After I answered some questions about my background, they asked about salary expectations and when I could start. I told them I was flexible on both, and then the call just ended. It was a bummer that the phone interview wasn't more of a back-and-forth conversation.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Account Coordinator
It was a really fun and enjoyable process! There were multiple rounds, including a recorded interview and some real-life work assignments to complete. Then, you meet with a team member. If you're creative and enjoy writing, you should definitely apply!
