The interview at Marks and Spencer went pretty well. I felt good about my answers regarding customer service and teamwork, even though I didn't have direct experience before. The interviewer was pretty engaging, and I got to share my excitement for retail.

I had an in-person interview. It was pretty standard, with a few scenario questions that weren't too hard. It seemed positive, and they said I'd hear about a contract within two weeks. But then after about 4 weeks of no news, I emailed and just got an automated reply telling me to wait. The communication was really poor and it felt like false hope, which is a shame because it's a well-known company in the UK. I've heard this happens sometimes, maybe it depends on the location.

Behavioral Case

My interview at Marks & Spencer was a really positive experience. It was held at the Wembley Outlet, and it was a face-to-face interview with one of the store managers. The atmosphere felt professional but friendly. The interviewer asked me about my background, why I wanted to work at M&S, and how I would handle different customer situations. There were also a few scenario-based questions, like what I would do if a customer couldn’t find a product or if the store was really busy. I made sure to talk about my volunteering experience, my strong communication skills, and how I enjoy helping people. Overall, it helped me understand how much M&S focuses on customer experience, teamwork, and maintaining high standards in service. It was a great learning experience and made me even more confident about working in retail.
