The hiring process involved an initial screening call, followed by a presentation, and then a panel interview. The people I spoke with were nice and made me feel engaged, and they did a good job explaining the job and what they were looking for. The questions covered a mix of how I handle situations, technical skills, and things specific to the role, so it was key to have real examples ready and be able to walk through my thought process. A notable part of the process was the presentation, which allowed me to showcase my approach to analyzing things, solving problems, and communicating. I thought the process was a good fit for the role and a fair way to show both my technical abilities and my soft skills. It was a good experience overall. My tips for others would be: Have some solid STAR examples ready, really dig into the job description and role details, and be prepared to explain your approach in a structured, business-oriented way, highlighting both your technical knowledge and how you communicate with people.

It was a bad experience. The manager who was interviewing me joked that he was also applying for the job, and then 5 minutes later confirmed he was interviewing me. It's not cool to trick people. He also mentioned that my availability wouldn't work with the shift schedule, which was weird since he already knew my available hours.

So I first applied online via the M&S careers site, then I did this quick multiple-choice test on how I'd handle customer service situations. A few days later, they asked me to do a video interview where I had to answer pre-recorded questions. After that, I came in for an in-person interview at the store. It felt pretty chill, like a casual chat with the manager and a team leader. We talked about my past customer service jobs, how I work in a team, dealing with tough customers, and my availability.
