I felt good about the interview process, even though I told the recruiter I was interviewing for the Audit Associate role, one of the interviewers was in Tax. Because of this, he wasn't prepared. Despite this, both interviewers were nice, friendly, and helpful. I was told I'd hear back in two weeks, but after several follow-ups over a month later, I finally got a response from a general email saying I wasn't considered. This review is to express my frustration about not hearing back after so many attempts to follow up. I think they finally responded (not directly from the recruiter) just to stop my follow-ups. Being ghosted after preparing for and going through an interview process is a waste of time and disrespectful. It's a shame to write this negative review because I really liked how friendly and kind the interviewers were. But I hope the firm sees this review and improves its interview process to avoid wasting people's time. Time is valuable.

I started with an on campus interview after being selected. A week or two after that, I was invited to the NYC office for a second interview. There were other candidates there interviewing for different intern positions. I interviewed with a senior from the nonprofit group and a partner from the wealth management group. Both interviews were pretty relaxed, mostly just chatting about me and what I wanted to do. It was a really positive experience. After the interviews, we all had lunch with the HR managers and our Marks Paneth buddies. I got the offer for my preferred group about 3-4 weeks later.

The interview process involved two interviews. First, a 30-minute interview with a manager, followed by another 30-minute interview with a partner. The entire one-on-one process took about an hour.
