This company has a really organized interview process that seems designed to make them look good and legit. It makes you wonder about the whole 'MarketStorm Global scam' thing and if it's a bait and switch. They apparently launched a new company recently under a different name, but have hardly any social followers, and they seem to be using interviewees to build up their online presence. They claim to have offices everywhere, but there are very few employees listed on LinkedIn. The only 'news' about the founder and company are press releases they write themselves. You sign up for a short 15-minute interview, but end up waiting a long time and filling out forms. Keep in mind they are collecting your personal data and not telling you how they'll use it or if they sell it. The owner is a fast talker, expensively dressed, and literally and figuratively. If you pass, you're expected to spend a whole day with them. There are reviews saying they don't pay for expenses. They even ask you to bring snacks and mention free valet parking, which isn't available and actually costs $15. After digging into the owner and past company names, I really regret giving them my personal info. You get a lot of well-written texts and emails. Who are they selling my number to? Is that how they make money, by collecting personal data from lots of interviewees? I scheduled my interview using their link on my phone. Are they using that to hack personal info?

I was immediately drawn to this position because it didn't require prior experience, which was perfect for me as I wanted to build a strong foundation for my career. The initial phone call left me feeling really excited about the possibility of getting the job. The woman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly positive and enthusiastic, and she greeted me so warmly when I arrived for my interview that all my nerves vanished. During this first interview stage, the role was explained to me, and I was particularly attracted to the outlined development structure. I made sure to show my enthusiasm for the position and was invited back for a second interview, which I was thrilled about. My second interview went great; I got to see firsthand how marketing operations work, and after that experience, I was determined to do everything I could to make myself stand out.

I saw the job for Marketing Assistant on LinkedIn and they hit me up fast, so I had my first meeting with the CEO. Honestly, I was surprised a business like that had their CEO do interviews, but I went anyway. I got through it and they offered me a second round. They told me to clear my whole day for it, which I thought was weird for an assistant role, but I did what they said. They set me up with someone who just moved to Miami and we were supposed to go to an 'event.' Before we left, I had to sign something saying I wouldn't get paid for the day's work. Turns out, this person drove me to a Walmart like 40 mins away and I had to stand there the whole time trying to sell Xfinity to people. It was awful. They totally tricked me!
