Behavioral

There was one phone call and one video call, and both were behavioral. It seems like they just want to get a feel for who you are. A lot of times, if you get an interview, it's really just about letting your personality show through.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process spanned nearly two months and involved five interviews, all of which I felt went very well. After each phone call, I sent a thank you email along with a 90-day plan I'd prepared for the sales territory. I really felt a connection with everyone I spoke to. The final interview was the only in-person one. From the beginning, the interviewer's body language suggested a lack of interest, even though our conversation itself seemed positive. Towards the end, he mentioned they were interviewing other candidates who were mostly already in the Los Angeles sales territory, and my being in Chicago presented a challenge. I wondered why I was being considered if that was an issue. The next day, I was informed I didn't get the job.

Behavioral Other

I applied online and it took a few weeks for them to get back to me. A third-party recruiter handled the initial screening before I interviewed with the hiring manager. The hiring manager's interview was pretty unengaging; they'd ask a question, I'd give a detailed answer, and they'd immediately move on without any follow-up conversation. It didn't feel like a constructive way to interview. After that, the third-party recruiter also handled the follow-up.
