Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Maritz.
Intern
I talked to a few people for this role. One of them really didn't seem to want to be there. They hit me with some hard technical questions. The place was okay, but it wasn't super welcoming.
- Can you list some functions you know how to use in Excel?
Intern
It was a pretty relaxed experience, with standard interview questions that didn't feel too stressful. I actually just went to drop off my resume, but because I knew someone connected to the company, the interview sort of kicked off right then and there. This was the only formal interview I had, aside from a very brief phone call that just set up the in-person meeting.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- What are your goals for this internship with our company?
- In what ways do you think you would be a good addition as an intern?
Intern
I applied for a 3-month internship. I called them, sent my resume, and was invited to a group interview with four other people. Then I started working, all within a week.
- What's the most interesting job you've ever had?
