They did a really thorough review of the job profile and my past skill sets. The interview team was friendly but had direct questions on my past experience. It was technical focused
- Tell me about a challenging data project you worked on and how you overcame obstacles.
- Describe how you adapted to solve key problems during a difficult data project.
Event Coordinator
It was a nice experience overall. The interviewers were really nice, and it was a pretty standard behavioral interview. There were a couple of questions that caught me off guard, but I think that's because I don't have a lot of experience yet. My only issue was that I was told a recruiter would call within a week, but I never even got an email.
- Can you define white glove service?
- How would you ensure excellent white glove service?
Talent Acquisition Manager
I was contacted through LinkedIn, which was the standard way to begin. The process included a 30-minute phone interview, followed by an onsite interview that lasted about an hour. During the onsite, I met the entire team, took a tour, and discussed my experience and the various types of open positions.
- Can you describe the types of roles you've recruited for previously?
Billing Analyst
First I had a phone screening with the HR recruiter. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. The final step was an in person interview with the hiring manager, my potential supervisor, and another team member. My background was a really good fit for the role, especially my experience with a specific system mentioned in the job description. Interestingly, during the phone interview, the hiring manager seemed to downplay the importance of that system experience. I felt the in person interview went well. I sent thank you emails and followed up a week later with the hiring manager, and then another week after that with the HR recruiter. Unfortunately, I never heard back from anyone. I was ghosted!
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What do you consider your weaknesses?
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
