Marketing Coordinator
Had a quick phone chat, then an in-person meeting the week after. Folks were nice, but it felt super corporate. This gig isn't about being super creative, and they really want someone with a finance/real estate background. You'd also have to learn other brokerage support jobs, which might be a plus or minus depending on you. Pay is on the low side hourly. They were thinking about a skills test for Microsoft and Adobe, followed by another interview, but I pulled out before that.
- What are some common interview questions you have encountered?
Marketing Coordinator
I went for an interview with three people who seemed really rushed. One of them even said they were "thundering through interviews as quickly as possible." It felt irresponsible. They all kept checking their phones and didn't ask me any questions; instead, they basically told me what the job involved. It didn't seem worth applying for, even though it's a big real estate company. The people representing the company just didn't seem to care.

Marketing Coordinator
The hiring process is really thorough, which is a good thing. The hiring staff are all eager, positive, and clearly work hard. They really wanted to make sure potential employees could handle the job, the workload, and the people in the office. It took about 5 meetings to get the job offer, but it was worth it.
