It was alright, they asked a lot of situational questions, like 'how would you handle X or Y'. They also wanted to know about my past cold calling experience. I had to complete a personality test that asked about how I judge situations or myself.

The interview process was disorganized and rude. I had an initial phone interview, even though the interviewer stated upfront they wouldn't discuss salary, which I took as a sign of low pay. Standard interview questions were asked, and I agreed to an in-person interview. I did some research beforehand and spoke with someone working there, finding out the base pay is very low, in the low 20s. With over 10 years of sales experience, I decided not to work for such a low base, so I emailed to cancel the interview and explained why to the recruiter. She responded with a strange email suggesting that people move around and this could affect me in the future. To make matters worse, another recruiter from the same company contacted me a week later about a different position. No thanks!

Behavioral Presentation

The process had two steps and was super friendly and relaxed. First interview by ASM was a basic intro and chat about the role. In the second one by SD, they gave me a real conference agenda to study and asked me to do a practice pitch. I didn’t do great on the pitch, ok honestly I sucked :) but they saw potential and still offered me the job. Overall, a really positive experience, clear, respectful, and encouraging throughout.

  • Can you demonstrate how you would pitch this conference to a senior executive?
