I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn about the Project Engineer role and they asked about my salary expectations. No salary was listed in the job posting. About a month later, I had a phone screen with HR where they asked if I would accept an offer at the salary I previously mentioned. Another month passed, and I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager, which was surprisingly brief at only 10 minutes. A month after that, I went in for a 5-hour in-person panel interview, which included a tour of the facility and lunch. Unfortunately, about 5 weeks after the panel interview, I received an automated email stating that I was not selected for the position.

It was a pretty standard interview process, giving a good overview of the role. It wasn't too long and had a lot of questions directly related to the job. They mentioned quick response times and minimal rounds, even though many people were interviewing.

I went through three rounds: a phone screen, another phone screen, and then an in-person interview. This was before COVID hit. The job got cancelled because of COVID, and then layoffs started. It was a good thing the position was cancelled, though. I was close to getting an offer, but HR told me they weren't filling the position anymore.
