Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Maples Group.
Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward and fast. I had a relaxed conversation with my potential managers about what my job would involve and how I'd fit into the team. They also asked some standard interview questions.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Analyst
It was a pretty simple process. Started with a call from HR for a general screening. Then I met with two senior analysts. After that, I had a follow-up meeting with the two hiring managers. The whole thing took about two weeks from start to finish.
- Could you give me an overview of your resume?
- Can you tell me more about your education and past experience?
- What are your technical skills when it comes to using Excel?
Analyst
It was a pretty straightforward and standard interview process with 3 interviews, including one with HR. The follow-up from both HR managers was good. I enjoyed speaking with the managers because there was a lot of idea exchange. HR was very responsive to my questions about onboarding. The managers were nice in that they distinguished between required and preferable qualifications.
- Can you tell me about your experience with vlookup?
